USMC Devil Dog

The United States Marine Corps "Devil Dog" aka USMC AS-90 R.A.M.S (Reinforced, Armored, Manned, Systems), is one of the most advanced R.A.M.S. unit currently deployed by any known military. The "Devil Dog" was conceived for urban and close-quarters combat, but can engage in ranged combat. The AS-90 is capable of short jet assisted leaps due to the variable direction thurster array mounted on its back. It is also capable of "skimming" the ground at high speeds for quick assaults.

Currently The AS-90 is in the "D" version and has had many system improvements mainly to its avionics and other sensor systems. The "Devil Dog" shown is in its' primary loadout (A1) armed with a 20mm drum feed smoothbore cannon with an ammo drum of 400 rounds (right arm), two 40mm stacked mortar launcher (5 rounds per tube), and shoulder mounted flare and smoke launchers. The AS-90 can be equipped with a 20mm gatlin style cannon or a short rail-rifle.

The AS-90D Devil Dog stands at 9ft 3in., and appears in The Calling and a few other book at Angel Comics and Bag Cog Studios.
