This is for an upcoming graphic novel I'm working on. The Story still has a way to go but I felt like posting this , since i hadn't posted a true mech illo in awhile. So now on to the details.

Oni A.M.P.S. ( Advanced, Maneuvering, Protection, Systems), belong to a group known as Last Guardians (can't give up the details yet!). The Oni is not a R.O.C.S., although they appear similar they are worlds apart. The first major different is the fact that the Oni is about 400 yrs. old ( give or take a few decades). Although the A.M.P.S. is rather old it is by far more advanced to any current R.O.C.S.. So far the tech that was used to create the A.M.P.S. has not been completely deciphered. The next major different is that the Oni is a "Super Weapon". For it's size the Oni is very overpowered ( it has the power output of a light Runner, those are coming soon). It also syncs with it's pilot on a total different level.

The Oni is equipped with two forearm mounted short cycling beam launchers , that have the ability to generate high intense beams. Under the arm and near back of the palm, the Oni has two ( one per hand) micro-grav-grenade launchers , that have a payload of 40 micro-grenades per arms. The Oni is also armed with two plasma charged scythe style swords that can be connected at the hilts .

On the left we have the Last Guardians Pilot Sync Suit. The PSS allows the pilot to "interface" directly with the Oni. It allows more direct control of the unit and gives the pilot a deeper perception of their surroundings . The PSS also has all the same equipment as the standard R.O.C.S. FS and the same abilities.
