The Odachi Variable R.A.I.L. Rider Armor , is the outcome from the research conducted by the Halcyon Heavy Industries Strider project (that was abandon 10 years earlier). After the Centaurs incident, Halcyon reconsider the feasibility of the Strider Ride System [link] .

The RA is equipped with an enhanced muscle structure that was primary designed to "accelerate" the wear. Allowing him to respond quicker. The RA was also purpose built to work with the Odachi VR, so the RA is not as heavily armored as other RA. The Helmet is equipped with the same sensor suite as found on the VR and also includes a satellite uplink and a "micro cray" hyper
computer. The RS also has a "remote slave " function control system or "Tailgunner" system. to operate the Odachi VR without being onboard.

The Rider is armed with a 10mm Richard Arms Auto pistol, has a clip of 20 round ( the Rider carrys 6 extra clips)and two vibro knives concealed in the forearms.

The Odachi Rider will appear in Megaway and Guerilla Tactics. That will be in the anthologies, Ante Up! and Mechology. Coming from Bad Cog Studios and Brushfire Studios.
